A Little Positivity Goes a Long Way

Oftentimes the difference between a mediocre life and a phenomenal life is just a little bit of positivity.  Positivity is the imperative link for living life to the fullest and capturing a bit of bliss and happiness.  It is a superlative drug which keeps life fruitful and flowing with rich, abundant blessings.  In my own life, it has made a world of difference.  My positive attitude and winners mentality has opened gigantic doors in my career and has assisted me in accomplishing all the goals I have accomplished thus far in my life.

The reality is though, nobody can be positive 100% of the time.  That's just not humanly possible, but that's not what's most important in living an incredible life.  What is important however, is tipping the scales in your own personal life.  This means having much more positive thoughts and feelings than negative ones.  If you can manage to do this, you will see life blossom and flower for you beautifully and artistically guaranteed...

I believe positivity is a greatly underused tool in the pursuit of excellence.  But it's something that is absolutely necessary in creating the kind of life for yourself which you secretly dream about.  Of course it's not always something that comes easily, but it gets easier with practice.  If you take time everyday to exercise your positivity even for 15-20 minutes it will make an impeccable difference in your quality and enjoyment of life.  Here's the thing though, YOU have to do it.  NOBODY can do it for you.  And you have to CHOOSE a positive life.  This may sound easy, but choosing a positive life means giving up your drama and many people just aren't willing to do that.  Playing the victim part is quite fulfilling to a lot of people it seems.  But the rewards of giving up your drama and taking responsibility in creating a positive life is well worth its weight in gold.  Because with a positive life you get to decide where you want to go and who you wish to be.  You get to co-create your life and destiny.  And along with these benefits you also get to feel healthier, happier and more alive.  Yes sirree it is totally worth it.  A Little Positivity Goes a  Long Way.  Try it for yourself and you will see...

Don't Waste Good Energy on Bad Things

Energy is dynamic and absolutely not a static thing.  It has a mind of its own and goes where it wants to go. It flows between all people, plants, as well as every living and non-living entity. We live and operate in a world of incredible energetic flow.  And the beauty of this is that all of us can harness our energy for positive change if we so choose. In fact, we always have a choice about how to use our energy. We can focus it on unhappy emotions, envy, resentment, things which we find to complain about, or any aspects of our lives not currently working. On the contrary, we can choose to focus it on happy moments, our grandest blessings and things which are looking up, or improving in our world.  The choice of where to place our focus and energy is ALWAYS ours to make.

The thing is though, wherever you put your attention and energy is highly important, because where your attention goes energy flows.  Where you put your energy is like tending plants in your garden. The areas you tend to the most flourish, meanwhile the areas you neglect wither away and die.  Your current life is based on where you have put your concentrated energy in the past. And the future you are creating is based on where your are putting your energy right this very moment. What plants are you wanting to grow in your garden is the question you have to ask yourself daily.  Then you must make certain you are showering your good energy and attention upon those things which you are deliberately trying to grow.

Tending to and nurturing the seeds of creativity, success, love, joy and positivity helps you to grow a sacred, transcendental life.  However, if you waste all your good energy criticizing others, constantly complaining, focusing on the negative side of life, that is a terrible misuse of good energy. Just like you shouldn't waste energy around your house, you shouldn't waste it in your own personal life as well. Why not use your productive positive energy for constructive, transformational change?  Energy is a precious commodity.  Don't Waste Good Energy on Bad Things, but instead channel your good energy into a purposeful focus and you will have a most excellent, colorful, passion filled life.

Creating a Masterpiece of Your Life

When you first realize your life is yours alone to create, it can be a little scary in the beginning to chew and digest this notion. But then as you begin to discover the marvelous beauty this holds for you, you can begin to envision all sorts of awe-inspiring, breathtaking possibilities. In fact, life can even begin to be fun again. Unlimited possibilities create excitement in our minds.

Life is a work of art and your job is to make it as beautiful as possible. A life, like a great painting, or sculpture isn't created in a flash. It took Michelangelo four years to complete his crowning achievement, the Sistine chapel. To make a great piece of artwork, you have to strive for minute precision. Every last detail makes an extraordinary piece of art what it is.

In life everyday is a new beginning, a chance to refine and redesign your life vision, to perfect the work of art you are trying to create. Right now, your life might feel like anything but a work of art, or masterpiece. You may even be sorting through the wreckage of a tragic life ordeal. But somewhere within the chaos, turmoil and confusion, lurks a friendly, becoming life just waiting for you to create its joyous existence onto canvas. Johann Goethe, a phenomenal German writer said, "If you know what you want-if you can state it clearly, the universe will move in your direction." As in any marvelous work of art, clarity is of utmost importance. A vision of the finished work in your mind is absolutely essential. Once you can capture the vision, hold it clearly and keep that picture in your mind, you will someday experience its fruition. Eventually in time, the masterpiece you hold as a thought will become your living experience.

Creating a Masterpiece of Your Life entails making your life vision a reality. A remarkable, thought provoking work of art can take years, or even decades to assimilate and so too can a notorious life. Just realize that you are the sculptor of your own life. And just like Michelangelo saw something noteworthy in a big stone, somewhere buried within you is a "David" waiting to be carved out. Within you there is a work of art so captivating, so riveting it would blow people's minds once you figure out how to unleash it. Now is the time to let your brilliance and eloquence out of the stone. You have the power to create, change and redesign anything in your life. You have the tools to craft an artful, splendiferous life.

Dare to Expect the Best

You can't just want a better life.  You have to expect a better life and open yourself up to receive a better life.  Ultimately you have to believe yourself worthy in the first place.  Because here's the thing, life can only give you what you expect it to.  And if you expect the best, oftentimes nothing but the very best shows up for you.  So many people complain about bad luck, tough breaks, unforeseen circumstances, about life not working out and etc.  And this is not conducive and can even be destructive to a successful life.  If people would instead Dare to Expect the Best in all situations the tide could definitely turn for them.

Whatever you are looking for in life you are bound to find sooner or later.  I average $100,000 in food sales each month for my career, but here's the reason why.  When I walk into a sale, I expect them to say yes, not just once in a while but always.  I expect that I'm going to make the sale and more times than not I usually do.  I walk in with the right attitude and mentality.  And expectations and beliefs are powerful.  Expecting the best in life is just plain, good medicine.  If you want to live a happy, successful life you should believe wonderful things are going to happen to you, as well as expect that amazing things are going to fall into your lap and they oftentimes will.

If you go into something thinking you might fail, or you might lose, then you are already halfway to failing.  To have a great life, you have to learn to think the highest thoughts, say the highest words and do the highest deeds.  To be successful at anything you have to believe your chance of success is much greater than the possibility of failure.

You can have everything you want in life when you learn to expect the best and look for the very best in life.  The universe is vast and rich beyond compare.  It wants to give you everything you desire, but it starts with you deeming yourself as worthy.  It starts with you expecting successful, positive events and outcomes in your everyday life.  Dare to Expect the Best and I assure you, you will one day reap nothing but the best...

Trusting Serendipity

We all have unexplainable moments when stars align and things just naturally fall into place.  It's this thing called serendipity.  I'm sure you have experienced it before and know how it works.  You find yourself at just the right place, at just the right time, with just the right person. You find something you weren't even looking for, or conditions align themselves for fate to reveal its face to you. These random, unpredictable, often life changing and unexpected events occur that leave you plain mesmerized. You know it's something amazing when it happens, but your rational side may shrug it off as sort of unusual, or just a mere coincidence. But these types of events are unique and fortunate and are not to be taken lightly.

The mysterious, spiritual, unexplainable side of life is sometimes the most real.  We should all learn to trust and embrace the mystery as we are all intricately connected to and a part of this divine mystery called life...  Trusting Serendipity is definitely living closer to spirit. It is allowing yourself to be open to possibilities and embracing not knowing what is going to happen next.  Living in this manner can be exciting and adventurous. It allows us to encounter people we never even conceived of meeting, to see places we didn't even know existed, or to try something delightful and refreshing. It allows our souls to open up and expand in all directions. But, serendipitous events aren't something you can plan for or even count on. They sort of just happen to you, when you least expect them, leaving you changed for the better. And it is when you are really being open to the spiritual realm, to new experiences and possibilities that they show up even more often.

Serendipity is not easy to fully understand.  By definition though, serendipity is: the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable things not sought for.  This is a great definition if you ask me.  So if you would like to to experience it more often, all you need to do is be open to it, allow it to happen and just let it show up in your life. If you try and plan every detail on your journey, you will miss out on extraordinary experiences. Acute planners rarely experience serendipity. They actually block out this mysterious, wonderful part of life.

Living with and close to serendipity is learning to trust and embrace the unexpected and to release control of the outcome. It is accomplished by not locking yourself into decisive, concrete plans, but instead listening for slight inner nudges and toning down your logical mind. Oftentimes, when we are living in this manner, what comes along is far greater than we could have ever anticipated or planned for. When we are in the flow and release control of the outcome serendipity becomes a remarkable part of our daily lives. It is almost magical. And the thing about magic is, it can't be forced, only allowed. Trusting Serendipity is allowing possibilities without boundaries, experiences without rigid fences. Set yourself free to experience its splendor.

Live it Up

Life is whatever you make of it bottom line! In every moment you always have a choice either to make the most of your circumstances, or to feel sorry for yourself and give up or give in. You also have a choice to look for the positive, or negative in every situation. There are no victims in life, only those who make themselves out to be. We all have tough situations to face.  We all screw up from time to time.  That is part of life and part of being human.  And sometimes, things can get pretty crazy in any of our lives. But through it all, you can still choose to be positive, and continue to follow your goals, dreams, your passions and bliss. If you choose to focus on all the things spirit blesses you with everyday, you will always find more to be grateful for. And there is much to be grateful for in everyone of our lives.

Why not choose to Live it Up and "suck out all the marrow of life," as Thoreau said? Seize the day, as this day will never come again. Remember that life is a gift and a treasure. Don't you dare let one millisecond go to waste. Just the fact that we are living, breathing and having this human experience is a miracle in and of itself. Have fun, rejoice, act goofy, be outrageous at least every once in a while. Benjamin Disraeli said, "Life is too short to be little." I think life is also too grand to be bland. Life is made out of the stuff that is fine and the stuff that is divine. So Live it Up, take some chances, put yourself out there. Go out on a limb where all the fruit is. If you never try to do what you love, you will never love what you do! Hellen Keller once said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing!" So why not make your life incredible and make it worth living? You have the power inside you right now, to make your life extraordinary. Don't let it go to waste.  Seize your power for positive, zestful living.

I challenge you to make your life tasty, juicy, bursting with passion and flavor. Make your life count. Life is meant to be enjoyed, to be full of bliss, joy, happiness and to be overflowing with adventure. Live your life so that each tick of the clock doesn't mock you and that it's not just one more second passing of a life not fully lived. Live your life so that when you walk into the gates of heaven someday, you hear all the angels rejoicing and cheering you on for living such a glorious, fabulous, extraordinary life, for really experiencing all life has to offer, for living it up...

Follow Your Inspiration

Inspiration is a normal, healthy and vital part of a successful, joyous life. It can be a magical, euphoric state to be in. It is like a natural high with no side effects. That is why you should always take time to open the channels of creativity in your daily life, to experience inspirations enlivening essence more often. This can be done through art, decorating, designing, journaling, creative writing, or through any endeavors which help you feel connected to inspiration and creativity. We should all make time to cultivate and value our connection to inspiration. Always embrace and cherish it, for wherever inspiration leads you will often be your happy place and ultimately might even be your saving grace.

Everyone should strive to live an inspired and enchanted life. This can be achieved by following your bliss and passions, as well as taking action toward your goals and things that enthrall or delight you. Whatever gives you a sense of great excitement and brightens your experience of life can surely be inspirational.  Inspiration is magical and can open up marvelous, exciting doors for you.  And once you hop on board the inspiration train, be ready to go for the ride of your life.

When you Follow Your Inspiration something amazing happens. Life takes on an effervescent glow. An inspired life feels almost hypnotizing and mesmerizing. Spirit beckons to you in things that excite your being. And whatever moves your soul in a deep manner can be a transcendental experience if you follow it. This journey of following your inspiration will take you to the heart of hearts, to the seat of your soul.  It will also lead you on a quest which will bring you face to face with your real self, as well as help you awaken your spirit.  It will magnetize your life from the inside out.  Following your bliss and passion will take you to a glorious realm of majesty and alluring beauty.

We all want to feel inspired, uplifted and flowing with the divine essence of life.  And the thing is we all can!  Being truly inspired is being fully charged in body and soul.  It is fully living.  Inspiration is all around us everywhere, everyday.  It's just a matter of opening your eyes, mind and heart and looking for it.  Then when you find it, you have to stop to pick it up figuratively speaking and allowing yourself to connect with it. When inspiration beckons to you, you've gotta follow it and trust its lead.  It wants to lead you somewhere and that somewhere just might be exactly where you need to be.  Follow Your Inspiration for it knows the way to your highest good and best possible life...

Live the Possible Dream

Harness the power you have inside of you to live your best life yet, to Live the Possible Dream. You know we hear so much negative talk in our society about the impossible or unattainable dreams, but there is really no such thing. Our dreams are individualized and sacred, and every dream contains the possibility of achievement, otherwise you wouldn't have it. Whatever the seemingly unattainable or impossible dream is for you, dare to realize it and live it. Nothing that you wholeheartedly believe in is truly impossible or out of reach.

In dreaming we are set free to contemplate the impossible, to dare to escape from our limited mindsets, which often keep us trapped in mediocre lives. In dreaming we are free to traverse other dimensions of majestic proportions and conjure the resources for attracting what it is we so desire. Every dream entertained sets cosmic forces swirling. And every dream planted brings forth some type of fruit, some type of result. The only major prerequisites for attaining the dream is belief and action fueled by a heartfelt desire. Living the possible dream is turning our aspirations into visibility, our thoughts into tangible reality. That is the beauty and power of dreaming. All things become possible...

What is your dream, the music you hear which stirs your soul? Well whatever it is, instead of thinking of all the reasons it can never work and why you will never achieve it, dare instead to think about how you can succeed. Contemplate the glorious possibilities, your God given strengths and unique abilities. Contemplate your worthiness to have the dreams intended for you. As you believe and as you wish, so shall it be unfolded unto you. Dream big, think possibility thoughts and Live the Possible Dream...

Building Blocks of Success

There are many components to achieving great success.  I think all of us instinctively understand too just how much work, dedication and energy is involved in chasing our passions, living our dreams and in building phenomenal lives for ourselves.  Success is a hard thing to define and sometimes even to achieve and find, but there are five building blocks, or success principles I have singled out here that have truly made the distinct difference for me in my life.  They are principles I live by.  They are:

1) Utilizing Your Personal Power to Act and Produce Results
2) Taking Total Responsibility for the Life You Desire to Create and Experience
3) Developing Momentum by Taking Positive Steps (moving beyond motivation into action)
4) Extreme Focus and Visualization
5) Follow Through or Intense Commitment (UNTIL you achieve your outcome or goal)

These principles, or Building Blocks of Success can be found in a plethora of self help/success books.  They have been timeless, proven ideas by dozens of self help guru's and successful entrepreneurs all over the world.  I have come to understand that utilizing these success principles is of paramount importance on the journey towards having an amazing life.  Living them can be instrumental in helping anyone live a completely fulfilling existence. If you want to turn your dreams into a reality, these are things you can certainly do more of.

The bottom line is this, everyone could be living their dreams if they would only put these principles into practice. It is easy to see how these building blocks have impacted, shaped and have even been the backbone to many ultra, successful people's lives.   So starting today how could YOU put these simple, yet powerful five ideas to work in your life?  Imagine what your life would be like a year from now if you were to put these simple ideas into practice in the areas of life that are most important to you.  I challenge you to do it and see what happens...

Bounce Back Stronger

Setbacks, disappointments and failures are inevitable and unavoidable in the game of life. We all get knocked off our high horses from time to time.  It's called being human.  But here's the thing, when life knocks you down, you don't have to stay down long. Instead, you can CHOOSE to get up and Bounce Back Stronger. Part of being victorious over life is learning how to get up, dust yourself off, rebuild and reconstruct your life stronger than it was before things fell apart or came undone.  And how you rise from the rubble often displays your real character anyways.

Life happens to all of us, but you are NOT your setbacks, disappointments or failures. These things don't have to define you as a person, or limit the future you may create for yourself. They are merely stepping stones across the river of life, helping you get to another shore. I have been knocked down in my life more times than I care to admit, but I always manage to get back up and Bounce Back Stronger.  Something inside of me won't ever let me give up and quit.  I have this strong will to win, to succeed, to conquer and overcome anything life throws at me.  And I'm truly grateful for this something, whatever it is, for it is this which keeps me moving forward and fighting like a champion day in and day out.

Things aren't always as they seem anyways.  Sometimes the very things that knock us down contain hidden blessings which allow us the chance to triumph over ourselves.  I think the point of challenges and struggles is to help us grow deeper roots so that we might one day stand firm like a tree.  Anytime we overcome them, challenges and trials can give us strong foundations to build on, to stand firm against any of the storms life may throw at us.

How you triumph over setbacks and failures can set the tone for your entire life.  The manner in which you handle what life throws at you determines ultimately if your life will be a success or a failure.  Its always a choice though.  Only you can decide if you will sprout once again out of the dirt with new life, or if you will sink into despair and become trapped in the irksome mud.

You have a warrior within you, who only wants to see you conquer and stand victorious on the battlefield of life.  Whenever you feel like giving up or giving in, don't...  Look to this warrior within for strength and courage.  We are all stronger than we believe ourselves or know ourselves to be.  Choose to be a champion standing victorious in the ring, not a quitter lying broken and beaten on the ground.  Winners win because they push themselves beyond normal limits.  Always strive to find the silver lining in everything and new life will spring forth once again. I promise you, you can triumph over your setbacks and failures.  You can survive and thrive once again and Bounce Back Stronger than you ever were before.

Let Everything Be as It Is

Surrender is not just a spiritual, but a truly life transforming practice. It is basically to accept things as they are and Let Everything Be as It Is right now in your life. Resistance is always futile anyway, because what you resist persists and even gets stronger. And too much striving in life actually produces the opposite of thriving. When you stop trying to force things, or overcome things by brute strength and instead, learn to work with the flow, then your natural state of happiness and joy begins to shine forth. By practicing living this way often enough, you may even begin to understand and realize the sheer beauty of the NOW moment for the very first time in your life.

There is a marvelous and almost commanding power in non-resistance and acceptance.  If you could learn to be at peace with and simply accept even the unacceptable in your life right now, imagine how much easier your life could be. What if you could just Let Everything Be as It Is?  Well this is the way to flow with life.  To come into union or harmony with the way things actually are right now, to embrace things as they are happening right in this very moment is freeing and liberating.  Here's the thing to remember, whatever you are experiencing now is precisely as it needs to be, otherwise you wouldn't be experiencing it. And the very things you are resisting by nonacceptance cause resistance and friction in your efforts to change, or overcome them. If you could instead accept where you are at and move forward from there, with the flow rather than against it, you could certainly maximize your ability for affecting positive change in your life.

The idea of effortless effort in Zen traditions has ultimate relevancy here.  Oftentimes we accomplish more by doing less. Aldous Huxley a leader in modern new thought said this, “In all activities of life from the trivial to important, the secret of efficiency lies in an ability to combine two seemingly incompatible states – a state of maximum activity and a state of maximum relaxation.” Being natural, spontaneous and responsive to life, like water, you can be powerful and effortlessly flowing at the same time. Water is a dynamic reminder of a transcendental life altering substance which overcomes both the hardest and softest elements just by just a gradual, continuous flow.

Why walk through life with a clenched fist?  Not accepting things as they are in this very moment is battling against yourself, which is a never ending battle you cannot win.  A great question to ask yourself is this: what do I need to let go of, or merely learn to accept to be at peace right now?  Once you find the answer to this question and you let go of whatever it is you are struggling to accept, you will instantly feel lighter.  Acceptance of things as they are instantly brings clarity and balance to your life experience.  So what in your life can you surrender to or accept right now?  Can you imagine what it would be like to make accepting everything as it is your spiritual practice for the next week?  I assure you that if you do, you will see dynamic changes and your life will be revolutionized.  Accepting things as they are brings clarity, balance and a quiet sense power to any one's life...

If Life Was a Game

If we approached life as if it was a game and we were all just players, life would be a total blast. We would all just be out on the playing field playing our hearts out, not worrying about winning or losing. Think about how you might play the game of life differently if this was the case. If it was all just fun and games and no one was taking score, wouldn't you simply be living it up?  If you didn't have to be concerned with ultimate successes or disastrous failures you would just be playing, taking risks, as well as being more courageous, brave and adventurous. And if this was indeed the case, you would just be relishing the moment, capturing more bliss and excitement.

If we will allow it to be, life can be like a game.  In fact, this is truly how life could be lived by all of us. Here's the thing, no matter how you look at it, none of us are getting out of this experience alive anyway.  So with that being said, the only failure lies in not being fully present, as well as not taking in as much excitement, passion and joy from the game of life as is possible.

When it's being compared to a game though, life sometimes presents big challenges or obstacles to be overcome.  And when we are facing tough obstacles that is the time to step back, take a look from a heightened perspective and remember IT'S ALL JUST A GAME... And the thing with all games is that they are all invented for amusement and fun.  You too can play your game of life anyway you want to, just for fun, without fear of failure, or everything falling apart.

We should never allow ourselves to take life so seriously, for when we do, we attract serious events and situations. When we stress and worry and think of the worst case scenarios, that is what we tend to attract more of.  But rarely is our situation life or death as it seems, unless we are coming from a place of insecurity and fear. The great thing about life is the universe always has our back.  Life always turns around.  We can always get up and keep moving again no matter what befalls us on our paths if we so chose to do so.

Life is indeed the ultimate game. So remember this and try to apply this idea with any serious, or stressful situations you may be facing at the moment.  And for the next few days try and approach these situations as a game just to see how it eases your stress and worry.  Whatever challenges you may be dealing with, whether it may be financial issues, searching for a new job, deciding on a new life path or career, or struggling to find the perfect lover in your life, it matters not.  Remember these things are all just a game when approached from this perspective. So instead of fretting and freaking out about how up in the air your life may seem, or how difficult and challenging everything is, you can instead choose to simply enjoy the process, seize the moments life gives you and approach it all as a game.  By doing this, life becomes so much simpler and so much more enjoyable.  So live it up, throw yourself out there and play with passion and enthusiasm.  Treat life as If Life Was a Game and you will find yourself victorious in the game of life...

"And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!

Exercising Positivity

When someone loves life they are infectious.  Their positivity radiates jubilantly for all the world to see. Joy, passion and spirit emanate all around them. Their energy and attitude affect and move everyone they come into contact with. In a nutshell, these types of people are powerful agents for change. Whether you are lucky enough to be this type of person, or know someone of this caliber, you're quite fortunate. These souls are like a well of water in a thirsty desert as they quench the thirst of countless others.

What sets these rare people apart from the masses is they are positively fit, which is very similar to being physically fit. They have learned how to strengthen and shape their positive muscles so to speak. You see, positivity is much like a muscle. The more you exercise it and keep it fine tuned, the more it grows, strengthens and basically the more toned and developed this faculty becomes.

You too can strengthen your positivity muscles by sheer will power and by practice. When you do this, you can't help but elevate your life. Both positive and negative energy exist within all of us. What it boils down to though, is which one you decide to exercise the most. You have to decide which one you will nurture.  And whichever one you exercise the most, sooner or later dominates your life experience. The choice is basically up to you.  You might as well choose positivity as it takes just about the same energy to keep yourself positive as it does to be negative.

Positivity is one of the most worthwhile pursuits to follow. It takes nothing away from you, but only adds luster and brilliance to your life. It brightens your personality and outlook on life as well. It expands your possibilities and capabilities. It has an intense effect on others as it subconsciously makes them like you and want to assist you in every avenue of your life. With positivity you become a magnet for all of life's goodness.

There are some keys for Exercising Positivity that you can implement immediately in your own life.  These include: dwelling only on positive outcomes, visualizing positive scenarios, asking yourself positive questions as well as filling your inner reservoirs regularly with positive material. As you exercise your positivity, you are watering your success garden and welcoming abundance, excitement and happiness into your life.  Trust me it's more than worth the effort...

Living a Soulful Life

A complete, hearty life needs to include balance, variety and a healthy amount of soul care. A little chicken soup for the soul (metaphorically speaking) is an antidote for life's ailments. It seems a lot of people these days are talking about the benefits of soulful activities and how it relates to health and wellness. The health of the soul is now coming into play in the overall spectrum of wholeness, which is definitely a good thing.

Taking time to go to your soul for enrichment, for a refill, or to gain perspective and composure is not only helpful, but relaxing and inspiring. Sipping from the universal well regularly is never a bad idea. Here's the thing, if you wander too far from your soul, you will experience an emptiness and longing to come home spiritually. Not going to your soul regularly is like walking through life in the dark on an unlit path.

Part of this process though is coming into a realization that your soul has needs of its own. Being aware of its presence and needs, a person naturally desires to care for the soul. Just as a good doctor directs patients toward health and healing, we must direct our souls toward spirit. We are each the caretakers of our own souls. It is up to us to lead ourselves to wholeness, to drink of the sacred, life giving nectar. Caring for the soul is an art that you can become skilled at with a little practice. And it's an art form that will majorly revolutionize your life once you get good at it.

All of us have an inner, living presence, a soul, which though invisible to the outside world, is utterly real and of utmost importance. Your soul is a living, energetic thing which needs nurture, care and attention. Living a Soulful Life is about listening to and following what your soul is calling you to do.  The by products of living in this manner are unending joy and serene bliss. A soulful existence results from a life that is uniquely aligned with who you are and one which allows you to fully express the talents and passions that stir your soul to greatness.  Living soulfully is exercising and feeding your soul until it ripens and brings forth scrumptious, delectable fruit.

It's easy to obsess over the non-essentials in life, but it is far better to give attention to things which matter most. Making time to honor and validate your inner being is a wise choice which brings an array of blessings with it. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Within man is the soul of the whole; the wise silence; the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related, the eternal ONE." Living in harmony with this entity will prove to be a sublime taste of ecstasy to anyone who tries it. It is like feasting on fillet Mignon for the soul.

Finding Inspiration

If only there was a place we could go to find inspiration, or there was some secret remedy to living an inspired life, the art of inspiration would be simple. Finding Inspiration isn't always easy for any of us though. It can be downright difficult, especially at certain periods in all of our lives. Yet, when we truly open ourselves up to it, it can be found anywhere, anytime, in any situation, if we are but aware of its presence. Some people may find it through art, by observing a beautiful landscape, through hearing a beautiful piece of music, reading or listening to a book or poem. The thing is, inspiration is truly all around us when we but stop to look and listen. And being inspired and living an inspired life is where life's magic is at. We all need inspiration as desperately as we need sunlight and oxygen.

For me inspiration comes comes in many different ways.  It can arise within me when I'm reading or writing poetry as well as listening to music, or writing music.  But it can also come from hiking in the mountains, watching a play or incredible movie.  I also find that when I'm feeling the closest and most connected to source, I'm the most influenced by or awakened to inspiration.  For this reason I practice daily yoga and meditation.  It keeps me close to inspiration, since inspiration literally means (in spirit).  Sometimes inspiration is brought on by exercising creativity.  Regardless of the numerous forms for finding it, it is blooming all around...

I believe we are all meant to life inspired lives.  Inspiration is one of spirit's greatest gifts. We can however cut ourselves off from its amazing power by dulling or numbing ourselves.  The end result of this though is that we choke off the very part of us which gives us the most animation.  We should all embrace inspiration and do things which inspire us often.  When we cut ourselves off from inspiration, we are literally cutting ourselves off from our life giving essence or spirit.  Living with inspiration is magical, breathtaking and a colorful existence.

The Power of Words and Thoughts

Words and thoughts are the backbone of any person's life. They have an incredible, magnanimous power in forming life experiences and in shaping a persons reality, happiness and destiny. For this reason, everyone would be far better off if they chose carefully the words and thoughts they habitually carried around with them. For these things are your tools and weapons for hunting down your dreams and aspirations in the physical world. And though invisible, they carry massive amounts of energy and potential.

Since everything is energy and everything is in motion, words as well as thoughts carry both an attracting energy and a vibration. Broken down a bit further, a thought carries with it a small amount of power, while a spoken word is like double the power, as it is a combination of thoughts and words. Together they form powerful intentions. The more something is thought or spoken of, the stronger the vibrations become, until the intentions bring forth the desired results. People who achieve a great deal of success have used this principle whether they are aware of it or not. They understand that it takes an absurd amount of focus to achieve the goals they set out for.

And just as the everyday foods we eat are always becoming a part of our bodies at a cellular level, it is the same with the thoughts and words which we use on a daily basis as well. These things become part of our emotional bodies and energy fields at a sub molecular, or subatomic level.

Thoughts and words are internal sketches which become outward expressions on the canvas of your life. And with the vibrations you transmit, it's not just your life you affect, but the whole of life itself, all around you. In all of our lives, there is a deeper picture being created at a core, or ethereal level by the energy we are emitting or sending out. This deeper picture is energy in motion which eventually crystallizes into a 3-D life experience. If you don't like what your present life is showing you, you can change the deeper picture by changing your spoken words and focus. By doing this, the outer conditions of your life automatically change as well.

Your mind is like a computer. In it you can program whatever you want. You don't have to merely accept others thoughts and ideas about you, or about life itself. Instead, the most exciting news is that you can download and install your own files at will anytime, on demand. The power of Words and Thoughts are limitless, inconceivable, life altering and expansive. Use them wisely and they will do surprising and sometimes astronomical things for you.    Your thoughts are your magic wand.  Use them consciously.  Why in the world would you sish for something you don't want.  Guard your thoughts and words.  They are your master servants...

Live Bravely

What would happen if you chose to live bravely?  Let's just say that you went for everything you wanted to achieve or accomplish in your life.  How might your life be different if you held nothing back and lived this way?  Well I'm here to tell you, your life would take off immensely if you dared to be brave.  See here's the thing, there is power in braveness and boldness.  If you're not doing something every single day that makes you feel brave or bold, then you're not really living.  And if that's the case, I challenge you to truly get in the game of life and be courageous.  Dare to live your greatest life yet by living bravely.  You have so much more to gain than you stand to lose.

Great people who live remarkable lives understand this concept.  That's the reason they achieve greatness in the first place, because they put themselves out on the line often and risk living their dreams.  What's the worst that can happen anyway if you don't get what you might be striving for?  It's just a little pride that you lose that's all.  But life is worth the risk.  It's better to die trying for what you want to achieve than not to try at all.  We all regret the things we didn't do, the one we let get away, not going for the dream we wanted to achieve.

So stop living with regrets now.  Even if life doesn't take shape the way you want it to, you will always feel like a success if you at least try for what you want.  As soon as you stop trying then you might as well be dead anyway, because to be living means to keep on moving, keep on trying, keep on risking and never giving up.  When you give up and never risk anything then your life will stop period.  And you cannot afford to let that happen, nobody can.  I dare you to do one thing today that makes you step outside your comfort zone just a little bit.  And then practice doing this more often until it becomes habitual.  Live Bravely or die trying.

It's Now or it's Never

Sometimes the cosmos shower down millions of particles of life's magic upon us instantaneously.  In a single moment, fate or destiny lines up remarkably with the stars.  And in these unforgettable moments, amazing, synchronistic and sometimes even implausible things just fall into place almost effortlessly, with utter precision and flawlessness.

And although these types of occurrences really do happen to all of us from time to time, I believe it's safe to say that more times than not, our lives most radically change when something rather changes in us.  We all have pivotal junctures where something comes over us and we realize in a fully aware moment, that It's Now or It's Never.  We suddenly get the cosmic nudge that if we want to have, do or be something, we have to start it right away, right this very second or the moment may forever pass.  Destiny calls, pushes us up close to the edge and makes us face up to our fears, insecurities and vulnerabilities.  Then we are faced with a choice to stagnate and freeze, or to jump and attempt to fly.  And like a cliff diver, we decide to jump into the unknown, into our fears.  And oftentimes it is that very leap of faith into the unknown that is the very catalyst of great personal revival in our lives.

I'm sure you can think of moments that changed everything for you in an instant, in the blink of an eye.  Maybe right now is one of those moments for you, where you have to get all the way in, or back all the way out.  Perhaps you are standing on a precipice of something extraordinary in your life, which is beckoning you to make that leap into the unknown, to walk into the dark scary regions of uncertainty that we all know too well.  If so, I challenge you to not back down due to fear, but to stare the giant of the unknown square in the eyes and leap even though you might be afraid.  You know you can't let fear own you.  You have to triumph over it, or your moments of greatness might be blown away forever like sand in a windstorm.

Helen Keller once said a brilliant quote, "Life is a daring adventure or nothing."  Oftentimes we wait for the perfect moment to begin to go after our dreams, or to create lives of our personal liking.  What if instead we lived like we had no time to waste?  Moments of our lives come and go like changing seasons.  If we don't harvest in fall time, we will most likely go hungry in winter.  At harvest time we have to seize the moments.  If you live your life like you have endless time to go after what you want, you will one day wake to find your life has passed you by.  When opportunity extends its arms out to you, you have to grab onto it.  It's Now or it's Never...
